Ordinarily, on-campus requirements for the both the bachelor's and master's degrees can be easily met via Harvard Summer School. Earning even one grade below B (including B-) will disqualify you from the program, this includes withdrawal grades. Our typical student is over 30, has previously completed one or two years of college, and works full time. The only exception to the repeat rule are creative writing courses with an R in the course number (e.g., CREA 100R). At this rate, with 64 transfer credits, the total tuition cost of earning the bachelor's and master's degrees through the Joint Program is approximately $60,000. We allow four courses (16 credits) to count toward both degrees, reducing the time to earn a master's by at least two semesters. To keep the path to admission affordable, three specific degree courses are offered for $1,000 each. In our Joint Program, you experience a broad liberal arts background that fosters cross-cultural understanding, evidence-based communication, and peer-to-peer collaboration.

Among these options are: General track Cognitive Neuroscience and Evolutionary Psychology Track (a Life Sciences initiative) Cognitive Science Track (a Mind, Brain and Behavior initiative) Secondary Field in Psychology Continuous enrollment, with no gap in time between undergraduate and graduate coursework.
