Hence this is the first time that the global masters has received CEPH accreditation - which I would imagine also means that the program is getting more fleshed out. Does anyone know? The Global program remains different in its curriculum (though the two programs share core classes) and degree prerequisites. I would love to PM you if I do get admitted if that's OK with you! The reason I stayed in the track is because we have what is called a capstone, which is a year-long project completed in student-led teams...you basically get to act as public health consultants, it's super cool and amazing experience, and I'm in the midst of it all as we speak! NYU has 11 academic centers located around the world – including sites in Berlin; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Tel Aviv, Israel – that are home to NYU students who are studying abroad. Something you might want to consider is that while the Master's Program in Global Public Health isn't accredited with CEPH. Some pros for the future is that they will finally have their own building coming this Fall (I believe), and they may even add a few more concentrations.
