Having had high tea at the Ritz in London perhaps my expectations were too high we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 8 of us we had book and did know we might be in the Atrium part of the Cafe if it was busy however we did not expect to be seated around a coffee table laid out or otherwise, 8 people to eat and drink over a coffee table is not good as you are sitting high but the table is too small and low. Our choice was for the endless bubbly tea and it indeed proved to be endless.The selection of sandwiches on the cake stand was small, but that's where the fun starts as diners can make frequent visits to the servery for hot and cold items. 2 hr time slot felt rushed compared to the previous 3 hr time slot that was given. High tea at Caf at the Hyatt is a lovely way to spend the afternoon enjoy fine sweet and savoury delicacies, gorgeous tea, celebrity-inspired bone china and beautiful surroundings. Didnt expect much but wow. Map updates are paused. Needing to stay somewhere close to the WACA we chose the Hyatt Regency Perth as it was a 13 minute walk to the cricket grounds. Would recommended this hotel to anyone who visit Perth. I also believe they don't have enough wait staff the girls were run off their feet and doing their best.
