First we dive at Tiger Beach for 5 days, then cruise down to Bimini for hammerhead action off the coast. We have been hosting Shark Scuba trips on the MV Dolphin Dream for 10 years. We recently celebrated a 40th birthday at Old Bahama Bay resort and dived with Stuart's Cove each day.
We left at 9 and got back by 3pm. We flew in Saturday morning and took the ferry back Sunday night. We had a 4 tigers, tons of lemons, 1 or 2 reefs and a lonely nurse shark. Very cool experience.
Our Captain and Dive master (David) were outstanding. Scuba and Snorkel trips including whale sharks, Billfish, Sharks, Whales, Sharks, Sailfish, Whale Sharks, Manta, Etc. Location: Old Bahama Bay, West End, Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas The crew was extremely professional and friendly, and at no time did we feel like we were in danger. On non-shark diving days, there are plenty of dive sites off the west end including wrecks, reefs and walls as well as plenty of wild dolphins to hopefully interact with.

As a live aboard we get to stay all day and night at Tiger Beach doing multiple dives while the day trip boats have the long ride out and back. Our bus arrived on time, drive to the shop is beautiful, Staff were extremely professional and helpful, equiptment was great, all in all a top notch operation. He charters the Dolphin Dream because it is the biggest, most stable, most comfortable liveaboard dive vessel at Tiger Beach. There were literally hundreds of fish swimming around us at any given time. We read some unfavorable reviews for Stuart's Cove Diving in Nassua. Nowhere else will you get large full sized Tiger Sharks, a few resident Great Hammerheads, loads of beautiful Caribbean reef sharks, bull sharks, and the âfriendlyâ lemon sharks. Best weekend trip I've ever taken.

Because of the conditions of the dive (kneel on bottom, 12ft of water) we got about 3hrs of bottom time with these magnificent animals. This is a larger Dive Operation, which we were not used to, they have customer service down to a science. Stuart Cove's boat is nice and fast so getting to dive sites was not a problem and there was no need for live-aboard accommodations like the other dive companies. He has talented and safety minded crew to look after the guests and help them get the best photos and experience during the trip.
Our photo safaris are for photographers and non photographers who want to get up close to large marine life. We are never disappointed at the number of sharks.

I dove tiger beach back in June and decided to dive with Stuart Cove as they offered single day excursions. At the third site, the crew dropped a bait box into the water, which attracted several large reef sharks. The waters of the Bahamas are well known for its clear visibility and bright sand bottom. To add to that, the staff was superb! The only complaints I have are in regards to some other rude passengers on our tour who refused to follow the crew's directions.
